Outside of film scoring, Scott writes electronic and techno music, and orchestral music for large and small ensembles. His piece “First Flight” placed in the top ten in an international competition sponsored by the Northern Film Orchestra (UK) in 2023. I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario and got involved in the local acting community there. I played Miss Stacy in a local theatre production of Anne of Green Gables, volunteered as an extra or in a small role for local student films, and worked as a background actor on several films that were filmed in the Ottawa Area. Since moving to New Brunswick for work, I have shifted my focus to voice acting and voiceover work. I converted and closet into a small sound booth and have been developing my skills through a combination of classes, coaching and actively auditioning for projects.
